The PZN on the outer packaging of German medical related products is the abbreviation of Pharma Zental Nummer in English and translated as "Drug Center Code" in Chinese. It is approved by the German Federal Institute of Medicines and Medical Products (BfArM) and issued by the German Medical Products Information Center (IFA). It is a code that is only printed on the packaging of drugs, health products, infant formula, and some cosmetic products, equivalent to the ID card of German pharmaceutical products.
